Much has been going on recently in the world of Arizona’s education. With shortages in funding, many teachers are being shifted around, are losing their jobs, or faced with the possibility of not being offered a contract. There’s been so much uncertainty for many teachers, including myself.
I’ve come to really love what I am doing as a third grade teacher. I’ve grown significantly in the last year- in the way that I approach my job, the way I love my students, and how I invest relationally in the staff. The uncertainly of having a job next school year has caused me anxiety, but God has been reminding me to live moment by moment with Him, casting these anxieties on Him. He’s reminding me to trust Him to meet my every need. I can’t say I’m trusting Him perfecting, but in the anxious moments, He’s bringing peace to my heart.
